Andras Berndt

I first got involved in coaching in the 2011-2012 season, when I spent my traineeship at the team of REAC. I had to attend their training sessions three times a week for a year. I was required to assist the head coach, do small tasks assigned to me, and make observations and take notes of both the training and the matches in the U12 and U15 age groups. My coaching career began in the 2012-2013 season, when I started working as a head coach for RTK’s U9 team. I spent two successful years with the club, as I was also the head coach for the U9 team in the 2013-2014 season. From the 2014-2015 season, I became the head coach of RAFC’s U11 team, where I also spent two years, as I also worked as their head coach in the 2015-2016 season.

From the 2016-2017 season, I worked as the head coach of Budapest Honvéd’s U12 team and at the same time as the field coach of the Hungarian Football Academy’s U16 team. After I graduated from high school, there was no question that I would continue my studies in the citadel of sports education in Hungary, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences of Semmelweis University. I graduated in 2016 as a sports manager. In the 2017-2018 season I became the head coach of the U12 team at the Puskás Academy, and then in 2018-2019, I had the opportunity to assist Ede Visinka’s work as the field coach for the Academy’s team II, which plays in the third tier of the Hungarian National League. In the 2019-2020 season, I continued my coaching career assisting Visinka as a field coach of Aqvital FC Csákvár in the second tier.
